IL FESTIVAL
Teatro a Pedali: the first eco-sustainable theater festival.
The Teatro a Pedali Festival is the first theater festival powered by the audience’s pedaling, organized by the Mulino ad Arte theater company.
<< The planet is our home, and there is no planet B. Working together toward a single goal is the only weapon that will allow us to guarantee a future for our species. Our festival continues its narrative to encourage people to come together, to spread a common feeling, social inclusion, and the practice of beauty. In our own small way, we want to share values and create awareness through art that dialogues with science, because art and science, together, can make all the difference in the world. >>
Daniele Ronco, artistic director of Mulino ad Arte.
The festival is a completely new concept on the national and international scene, as all the shows will be powered by the audience pedaling through the Teatro a Pedali (Pedal Theater) format. It is a low-impact show, whose goal is to raise awareness among users about eco-sustainability through an experiential approach.
This audience engagement initiative aims to attract new audiences with a view to bringing together worlds that are not usually accustomed to theater, with the ultimate goal of educating people about good sustainable practices.
The festival will consist of ten days, each dedicated to different themes related to sustainability. The days will be packed with activities such as shows, workshops, aperitifs and talks, performances, book presentations, and more.
